UPSC CMS Exam 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification of Combined Medical Service Examination 2023 on Wednesday. This time recruitment has been done for a total of 1261 posts. Interested candidates can apply by 9 May 2023 by visiting upsconline.nic.in. UPSC Combined Medical Service Exam 2023 (UPSC CMS 2021) will be organized on 16 July 2023.

Total Vacancy – 1261 Category-I Medical Officer Grade – 584 in General Duty Medical Officer Sub-Cadre in Central Health Service Category-II Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railway – 300 General Duty Medical Officer in NDMS – 01 General Duty Medical Officer in Delhi Municipal Council – 376
Educational Qualification- MBBS Degree.
It is necessary to pass in the written and practical examination of MBBS examination. Candidates who have appeared or appearing in the final MBBS examination will be eligible to apply.
Age Range
– The age of the candidate should be less than 32 years by 1 August 2023. Five years relaxation will be given to SC, ST category and three years to OBC. Candidate must not have been born earlier than 2nd August, 1991.
The candidate will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. The written test will be of 500 marks and the interview will be of 100 marks. There will be two papers in the written examination. Both the papers will be of 250-250 marks. Each paper will be of 2-2 hours. Qualified candidates in the written test will be called for interview.
